The Shawnees are members of the Algonquian people. They are North American Indians living at various times in the east and midwest, but chiefly in Oklahoma. Wampum was used for cache...er, money.
Shawnee Park can be accessed from Parker Road in East Plano, Texas. There is a nice new playground and ample parking. You can also feed the ducks. There is also a Frisbee golf course in the park. The cache is a 7.62mm (30cal)ammo can. The posted coords will take you to stage 1 where you will need to find the coords to stage 2. At stage 2 you will need to find the coords to the final. At stage 1 the coords are not visible and are hidden. Very few thorns but some poison ivy that can be avoided. Not really suitable for a night hunt. But that's up to you. There are other geocaches nearby as well as a Terracache. Enjoy.
