Located on the Eglin AFB reservation in an open area set aside for recreational use with no hunting allowed. This two stage cache consists of locating a micro with the final coordinates being given within the micro. To obtain the micro you will need an "instrument" that is located within a 3' radius of the micro. Be sure to replace the "instrument" in the exact location. 1/1/16 - a special "instrument" is no longer needed. On 2/21/04, I repositioned the first cache to the new coordinates. DO NOT LIFT, PRY,CUT,or anything else other than remove the top of the container! The "instrument" will do all the work you need. REMEMBER, replace the micro with the TOP UP and return the "instrument" to where you found it.
There's only one required item: a permit granting you legal access to the Eglin AFB reservation. For a mere $5 you get an outstanding map and a year-long Recreational Permit. Get yours from the Jackson Guard either in person or by mail(send a copy of your DL) Address:
