Almost a drive-by cache!
If you walk from the north it's a fairly steep walk, but if you drive from the south it's easy-peasy. This is one of the best panoramic views in north Wales. On a clear day you can see for ever . . . just don’t go if it’s drizzling! If the weather is nice you can see all of the following, and a lot more. (We have seen them all at one time or another)
- The hills of northern Anglesey N53 23.60 W004 19.60
- Blackpool Tower N53 48.983 W003 01.145
- The Isle of Man N54 10.255 W 004 28.037
- Also just off the coast is the North Hoyle Wind Farm, constructed in 2003.
- Also the Lake District, Liverpool, Rhyl, Caravan camps!
And trains going by far below.
This is a very popular lookout point, but most people stay in their cars. Watch out that you are not observed, as the cache is quite near the car park.
