Geocache Description:

Easy , some blackberries, tall grass in the summer ,wet in the winter, no trail blazing required. Your looking for a ,well ,you know, something with plenty of space for lots of goodies!

This cache lies in an area of a railroad and county road crossings. An old timer that lived here in the area gave me this story. And I've seen the name on early maps ,labeling this junction , Irvinville. In " Horse & Buggy Days" up until the 1920's, the train would stop at this crossing, the conductor would step off the train, look all directions down the roads and If he spotted any buggies, they would wait, if not, a whistle blew , and off they would go ! This cache was originally going to lie where the buggies would turn the corner, but that would have the site too close to tracks. The cache now lies on the edge of private property, but permission is granted for the game, feel free to park somewhere off the road . In the summer it may be busy there , as they load boxcars full of seed, cow feed, and some times cotton seed that the farmers are shipping out . You shouldn't be in their way at all. This site is a easy Bug drop if you like. This is a "Cache and Dash " so don't let the train leave without you! Have a fun find. Quack.
