A short 0.2 mile walk, mostly along a creek side trail
Follow the trail along the creek at the north end of the recreation site for about .15 miles where a tributary comes in from the west. It's about 300 feet up the hill from there.
It will be interesting to see how the vegatation recovers from last year's Aspen fire in this area.
The cache is an ammo box, we loaded it with 3 tye dyed hankerchiefs (clean), a mini enterprise, a couple of geckos (plastic), a couple of key chains and assorted other goodies.
