Geocache Description:

Memorial Park is located within the town of Meaford on Georgian Bay. The park offers Camping, Swimming, Mini-Golf, a Playground and a short trail though a forest.

During the winter months the park is very quite. The trail through the bush is packed down so you don’t need skis or snowshoes but you will need them if you want to take a walk along the water.

The cache is located off the main trail. The trail starts at the main gate and you can follow it to the upper campground or to a neighboring subdivision. You only need to bushwhack around 75 meters so you can stay on the trail.

The cache is a small Tupperware container with a blue lid it contains the usual cache treasures. Bring small items to trade the cache is only 4” x 4-1/2” x 1-1/2”. When the cache was placed it had two Travel Bugs Gary Gater and DEX’s Mother-in-Law (Miss Finster from Recess).
