Start your search from the Wildlife Center Parking lot at Oak
Mountain. ($2 fee on weekdays/$3 fee on weekends) per adult to
enter park) This is a 2 part multi. 1st stage is located a short
hike along a horse trail.
I put on my swami hat and read your mind when I placed this
cache.
I already know alot about you such as:
What number you will pick,
The year you were born,
The year something memorable happened in your life,
and your age as of the end of 2003. Spooky huh?
I’m not going to tell you how I know all these things but by the
time you finish this cache you’ll probably be able to guess.
Once you get to the coordinates listed above and find the 1st
stage of this multi you can check your answers of the clues below
and lock in on the Final stage.
There will be a piece of paper in the 1st stage with several 3
digit numbers listed labeled North and several labeled West. If you
did the math correctly you should be able to match your answers to
numbers listed on the sheet and determine which number goes where
or if you’re feeling really adventurous you could just plug in all
the possible combinations and go.
The first stage is an orange plastic matchbox holder. The final
cache is a 40 oz peanut butter jar and contains a log book,
pen/pencil and is stocked full of fortunes. Please feel free to
take a fortune but please don't leave anything except Travel Bugs.
I will keep the cache stocked with fortunes.
Congratulations to DavidSN & Stephania Nelson for being
FTF and claiming the Bonus fortune.

Clue 1-
A. Write down the year you were born [ A ]
B. Write down a year of a memorable event in your life that
occurred before 2004.[ B ]
C. Write down your age as of Dec 31, 2003 [ C ]
D. Now subtract the year of the event from 2003. (ie 2003- 2001 =
2) If it occurred in 2003 write 0. [ D ]
E. Now add the 4 numbers you obtained as shown below:
F. Take the answer obtained in step E and subtract 3997. This is
one set of missing numbers.
[ A + B + C + D ] = E – 3997 = missing coordinates
Clue 2-
A. Pick a number between 1 and 100 ( A )
B. Now take ( A ) and add 28 ( A + 28 = B )
C. Multiply ( B ) by 6 ( B x 6 = C )
D. Subtract 3 from that number ( C – 3 = D ).
E. Divide the result by 3 ( D / 3 = E )
F. Take the number you picked in step A and add 3. ( A + 3 = F )
G. Now subtract ( F ) from the number you obtained in step E. ( E –
F = G )
H. Take the number you got in step G and add 8. ( G + 8 = H )
I. Take the original number and subtract 1. ( A – 1 = I )
J. Now take the number you obtained in step I and subtract it from
the number you obtained in step H ( H-I = J )
K. Now take the result of step J and multiply it by 7 ( J x 7 = K )
L. Now take that answer (K) and add 24. This is one set of your
missing numbers.
I added the worksheet below as a fill in the blank that might help
in doing the math if you need to keep it straight. Its really not
as complicated as it may look just remember your math rules.
