Alright now, time to get out of the house and do some Geocache ciphering! This cache will get you out, make you think a bit and hopefully just have some fun! The final cache is located in a nice little park in the Preston Forest area of Kingsport, there are picnic tables, a outdoor grill and a creek, so pack a lunch and take the kids and the dogs along (if you have any) to have some fun, but you will have to visit the other locations first in order to get the final coordinates. Just nice to look around at all the beautiful homes and such...
Here’s how it will work:
Go to the first location. (as listed at the top of this page) You should end up at a ‘T’ in the road. Look at the house directly in front of you. Jot down the house number [they will total to 12] you will need it for the next part. Take the house number and break it down from left to right as: ABCD
E=A-1
F="B"
G=B-(C+D)
H=B+C
J=A+D
Now replace the letters to get your new coordinates: N36.33.EFG W082.29.H0J
-----------FOLD THE PAGE HERE - DO NOT USE ANYTHING FROM ABOVE UNLESS NOTED------
At this location you will find more numbers....they will be in the format of ABC DEF GHI just below EH006.
Now the part you’ve been waiting for, the final coordinates to the cache!
J=E-A
K=D+B
Fill in the blanks and make your way to the final cache location:
(N)36 BB.0KE (W)082 JK.EEE
You may want to bring some waterproof boots! Be Careful and Have FUN ! Happy Hunting!
