Soquel Convergence Traditional Cache
Krypton: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Cache is on a hilly convergence of city and rural lands. Enter from a park or school. About a 100' climb in elevation from parking area.
Hello, and welcome to a spot we call The Soquel Convergence. As you can see by the area, it is truly a convergence of mountains and sea, rural and urban, old and new. Maybe you’ve been here before, perhaps not.
After you find the cache, take a 300 ft. walk further south on this mound, arguably the highest yet closest bluff overlooking north Monterey Bay. You will see a nearly 360 deg. view of where we live. Stop, breathe, experience and enjoy what we have here.
Time has flown, and it’s been over 6 years since I placed the cache, and we've gone through many seasons.
Steep, but well worn and wide trail leads to cache area. Cache has now been moved from it’s original spot right on the path, to a place about 40 feet off the main path. Cache is large ammo box. I have tried my best to really select a new spot with no poison oak. However, use common sense when taking and replacing cache. I will check the area often to insure no geocachers get the "itchies".
Enjoy the view, and though it's close-in to town, it still seems remote. Over the years, with the development of the park below, more and more foot traffic is seen up on the hill. Good for them, but remember, stealth is of the highest order. I even suggest to remove the cache from the hiding place, return to the main path, enjoy the view while your are logging your find, then replace the cache when no one is nearby.
