Geocache Description:

This Multi-Cache will start you off at the old Ford Cemetery in Hudson, NH to find how lightning struck once but took two.

The first clue is found inside the Old Ford Cemetery off Musquash Road in Hudson, NH and is where the cache’s name came from.
Find the stone that marks the resting-place of two struck by a single flash of lightning.

Use the information on the stone to help obtain the final coordinates for the cache. Read the entire description before moving on or you may miss some information and need to return.

From here go to the spot that marks the town’s first meeting house (42° 43.090N 71° 24.046W).

Now it’s time to do some math. You will need two numbers. I’ll call them "A" and "B".

"A" is one half of the number you get when you subtract the age of the younger at death from the age of the elder at death. As a check, it is also the day of the month the two were struck down. "B" is the year the lightning struck down the two minus the year the meeting house was built.

The Final Coordinates are: North 42° 44. (A-1) West 71° (B-6).113

If "A" is less than 3 digits be sure to add zeros to the front of the number. If you get 1 as an answer be sure to use 001. If you get 10 for an answer be sure to use 010.

It’s a good long hike in with some tricky bushwhacking at the end.

The Cach container is a small tube container with a few standard Geocache Treasures inside. There was a 1907 "V" five cent piece in there to start.
