NOTE: My preferred method of communication is through notes on the cache page in question. However, should you wish to use email - please do not select "reply". In general, a replay to the geocaching.com mail bot will not reach me. Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden at Claremore Lake Park. We are working with the Claremore Lake and Parks Department for other caches in the area. Please follow the park rules. It is located just off the new bike trail and just thought you should come visit. Park hours are 5 a.m. -- 10 p.m.

PARK IN DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY!!!! The parking cords near the cache are: N 36 20.186 and W 95 34.977. Do not park along the road. Claremore Lake is located east of the City of Claremore. The lake was developed in 1929 with the completion of the dam. Prior to 1929 this area was farm land with Dog Creek running through it. The lake features 500 surface acres for boating and great bass fishing. NO SWIMMING ALLOWED!!! There are 2 boat ramps, courtesy dock an enclosed heated and air conditioned fishing doc and 3 fishing peirs: 2 for general public use; 1 for senior citizens, disabled and children. Enhancing the lake is a 60 acre park with shaded picnic areas, 3 shelters, and 2 sand volleyball courts, playground and a new and improved 10 foot wide paved bike and walking trail. They recently completed a bridge over the lake on the trail. We saw many photos of fish well worth keeping. Bring your picnic lunch and fishing poles, enjoy the day. There are small city fees to launch boats, fish, and/or use the heated dock so stop by the ranger station and check with them if you plan on doing any of these.
