If you enjoy finding caches that involve fun, happy themes, you
would be better off throwing your GPS in the outhouse and finding a
new hobby than seeking out the caches in this series. This cache is
the fifth in "A Series of Unfortunate Caches" that are inspired by
Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" books. If you are
unfortunate enough to have already read the series of books, you
will know what we are talking about. This cache is based on The
Austere Academy, in which the Baudelaire children's
misadventures continue as they are forced to do lots of running and
listen to long violin concerts.
We are loading this cache with items that children might enjoy
playing with. Please try to stay with this theme as you exchange
items. There was little joy in the lives of the Baudelaire children
while at the Austere Academy, but perhaps this cache will help some
children to be a little happier.
There is no need for bushwhacking, but beware of the poison oak,
which you should be able to avoid to reach this cache. The cache
container is a 3"x 9" plastic cylinder which is heavily
camouflaged.
