SAR base cache
This cache was placed to celebrate the grand opening of the Sitka Volunteer Fire departments new Fire hall. This facility houses the Volunteer Fire Departments Fire Division along with the Emergency Medical Service, Search and Rescue, Mountain Rescue, K9 Rescue and Dive Rescue divisions.
The Search and Rescue, Mountain Rescue and K9 Rescue emergency operations center is located just a few feet away from this cache.
Those locating this Cache are also invited to tour our new facility.
This easy to find cache is wheelchair accessible and child friendly.
