BigR, Little L & the Minis: With a couple of misses it is apparent that this cache has met its doom. What a ride it had, one of our oldest caches and with over 20 years of active service to the Geocaching community. The unique opportunity that allowed this series to be placed at the then DBG has passed and we will leave this area for future adventurers as we archive this last standing DBG cache.

Geocache Description:

The first in the DBG series.

DBG #2 (A Place For Every Rock)
DBG #3 (To Honor Sandy Dyde)
DBG #4 (Fowl Company)

NOTE: This cache is inside the Devonian Botanic Garden.
There is a fee for entry and access is seasonal.

Now, on for the fun! This cache is hidden in one of the many natural gardens within this almost 200 acre area. Don't worry, this cache is only about 500 meters from the front gates. The container is a standard size ammo box.

When exploring in the gardens you can stay on the trails or there are many areas where you can get in amongst the vegetation. This cache is accessable by generally staying on paths...no bushwacking is required.

The initial contents of this cache are:

3 Lake Louise pins
2 Rolls of pennies
3 Snow Valley ski passes (good to Dec. 04)
Some misc. tidbits
