Kolmanda eluta looduse objekti all. Aluvere merglikarjääris.

Paekivi tööstusliku kasutamise alguseks Sõmeru valla territooriumil võib pidada 19.sajandi lõppu, mil Kunda tsemenditehas alustas Kunda-Aru murrust lubjakivi ja Aluvere murrust mergli kaevandamist. Aluvere murrus lõpetati töö 1960.a, kuivõrd rekonstrueeritud tehase tehnoloogia merglit enam ei vajanud. Karjäär on rekultiveerimata.
