This cache is located at a wildlife area. It is a 3/4 mile hike through wild prairie type terrain. This cache is canine friendly so bring your favorite four legged. This is one of the only areas around Fergus that you can see prairie chickens. (Ranger and I saw three while placing cache-hence the name)Pheasants, deer, rabbits and other mammals are present as well. Cache is camoflauged but easily found. Please place better or equal value items so the next person doesn't make the trek for nothing. Like other Ranger caches this is not meant to be a quicky cache. You will have to work some to get to it. This is a public hunting area so orange may be required during season.
