I have always liked the unique way cities and townships, no matter how small, would find a way to pay tribute to their fallen heroes from wars past. Sullivan Township is a very small community of less then 2500, yet they found a way to still honor these men with a small but powerful looking memorial built almost a century ago before the World Wars I and II. I’m sure when the land was set aside, the highways weren’t so big and this might have been the center of town. I’m sure you’ll find the weathered memorial and carvings as interesting as I do.
The cache is no longer a magnetic key holder but it's still small so there’s no room for trade items and you’ll have to bring your own writing instrument. It’s an easy find so you’ll have a little time to look around.
