Final cache is located close to the "Sapphire Trail", a hiking trail which takes the hiker from Harriman Railroad Station to the AT connection above Agony Grind.
Recommended: Begin at the Harriman Railroad Station parking.
The first stage is approximately 0.88 miles along the trail and the final cache stage approximately 1.2 miles in from the trailhead.
The hike can be extended by using two cars. Place one at the Elk Pen and descend on the AT at Agony Grind. Another option for an even longer trek would be to continue hiking on Indian Hill placing a car at the parking on County Route 19.
Satellite reception is sometimes difficult.
