Geocache Description:

A nice walk along the Oakland waterfront leading to an excellent picnic spot.

This cache is a short walk along the waterfront from Jack London Square, in a quiet waterfront park where you can watch seagulls and boats go by, and have a nice picnic. Most of the trail is paved, though a small section is gravel. There is parking nearby, but you'd really be happier walking over from Jack London Square.

As of 7/25/2004, the stolen cache has been replaced with a micro, and moved a few feet from its original location. Bring your own pen; there's barely room for a log.
