Geocache Description:

This is a Letterbox-Hybrid with 2 stages. The first point is a key box at (see waypoint below, N 31° 42.627 W 110° 03.896). It is a small tin under an agave leaf on a small stone wall. Use the key found here to open the real cache.

Dead Drop is an old espionage term for a location where spies would exchange documents. The stamp looks like the graphic below but with some additional text above and below it (Team Info).

There are two log books in this cache. One is specifically for putting your letterbox ink-type stamp on. If you don’t have a dedicated stamp, feel free to be creative and put something artsy in this book. We will accept unique/rare/odd (but relevant, like of where you’re from) postage stamps, stickers, and decals too. You can pick up pre-made stamps at stores like Hallmark, Michaels, and even Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart has pre-made ones in the crafts department, and in the school/office supplies area you can pick up a set that allows you to arrange your own letters. Toy departments often have some fun stamps too. At Staples and many other such places, you can have a custom stamp ordered.

If this is your first letterbox, bring a stamp-log to copy our stamp onto. Since the stamp is highly detailed, to ensure a good copy, try to put the page/paper you want to stamp it onto against something very flat and hard and give the stamp a slight tap of the fist .

We politely ask that you not leave trinkets or other paraphernalia in this one; just stamp, art, or log. Travel Bugs are OK. Please don't remove the stamp.

FYI: This modified AMMO can was mounted to my jeep for almost ten years; it is charged with much residual travel and adventure energy. Please ground yourself before you touch it.
