Postin' Cards Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

AbbysGrammy: It's had a good run but time to close it up and award the last Smileys. Look for a nice travel bug resort to open very soon at this same location. Thanks to everyone who hunted it.
This last 6 months I received post cards from 10 different states plus 1 from Iraq and 1 from New Zealand. JKL Go Duke and Lightnin Rod can go ahead and post another find on this cache.

This cache is like no other you have ever found. You may log this as a find IF you take a postcard. The post cards are already stamped and addressed back to the cache owner who will keep track of the post marks. Then every 6 months the cacher who sent the post card from the furtherest distance will be notified by the cache owner and will be allowed to log the cache for a 2nd. time. No cacher may ever log more than twice as the owner will delete any logs over the limit of 2. It will be interesting to see where the cards come from. Original contents: 30 stamped, self-addressed post cards, log and pen Please read the enclosed directions carefully and enjoy. UPDATE-March-August 2004: 16 cards were returned from 13 states. Robert Lipe sent one from Alaska and he wins the 2nd smiley face for this 6 months. Thanks to all who sent their cards back. I enjoyed each and every one of them. UPDATE:August 2004-March 2005: 10 cards from 6 states and 4 foreign countries were returned. I awarded 3 additional "smiles" this time to Team Cabera (Belgium), Geo Pirat (Germany) and Huskie (Egypt). THERE ARE 4 OTHER CACHES AT THIS INTERSTATE INTERCHANGE SO BE SURE TO FIND THOSE, TOO. UPDATE:this cache will shut it doors on August 31 so please send in your cards right away
