Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Rolling Hills park in Allen, Texas. It is a very nice small park. Has picnic tables, water fountain, playground and a bridge with a creek. Sorry, there are no thorns or restrooms. There are houses adjoining the park so please use a healthy dose of stealth. Parking is on the street. This cache is kid friendly. It is also lunch doable. This is another one of those, "Gee I never knew this was here spots and drive by here everyday" locations.

The first people to live in East Texas were Caddo indians, who called themselves Taychas, meaning "Friends". When Spanish explorers heard this, they used the word to mean friendly indians. Taychas eventually grew to mean the area, now known as Texas. There is a nice writeup as you enter the park. it's worth reading and explains the title of this cache. The cache itself is a camo'd, of course, plastic container. It will hold small items. Enjoy the park and the hunt.
