Geocache Description:

A Cache placed for the Go and Get 'Em 4 Event. Roadside parking, 1200m total walking distance. The last 150m to the cache are 'gentle off-piste' in winter and 'mosquito bushwhack' in summer.


We had originally planned this cache to be in the shadow of the Russian Embassy in Sandy Hill, but thought better of it.

Now, it's a pleasant stroll through a pine and deciduous forest not unlike the one in Moscow's famous Gorky Park. Gone are the days of cold war espionage. Gone, too, are the four interim waypoints we had originally envisioned for this cache. All that remains is an ammo can, alone in the wilderness.

It's a return to the Traditional life.
