Welcome to the world of Geocaching. By now you would have a fair
idea of what this sport is all about and what it entails. So have
fun all.
This geocache has been placed just down the road from Lindfield
Primary School and, for the time being at least, will contain the
"Field to Field" Aeroplane Travel Bug.
This is a little replica aeroplane that we hope will be taken by a
finder and helped on it's way to the geocache named "Between Highway and Flyway" which is located very
near Walker's Grove Elementary School. All going well, the little
aeroplane will soon be flying all over the world and eventually
arrive at it's destination.
In the mean time anyone is welcome this try and find this
geocache which is located in a rocky outcrop at the end of Shirley
Road Lindfield.
Students, if your Mum, Dad or maybe your teacher owns a Global
Positioning Satellite Receiver, see if you can get them to go for a
treasure hunt and find this cache. It's easy to find, but just be
careful as nearby there are some steepish rocks, don't go trying to
find it unless you have permission and an adult with you. Take an
item with you to swap, just a little one will do. Then, when you
find it, swap the item for something already in the box, fill in a
page of the log book and finally come back here to type in an
account of how you found the adventure.
