Rush all the way don't stop, just get here now! A multi cache located in a quiet pocket of inner northern Melbourne.
Nestled in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne is this little visited pocket. Come by train, tram, bus, car, bike or even on foot, but make sure you rush all the way.
The initial co-ordinates: S 37° 46.969' E 144° 59.502' These will place you in a rail station car park.

At the next location: S 37° 46.986' E 144° 59.546' You need to collect some details. These are:
- d = number of myki vending machines on this platform
- e = number of grey and green myki card readers on this platform
- f = number of metal seats on this platform
- g = number of high windows along the front of the building facing the platform
With all of this information in hand the final location can be calculated using:
S 37° 46. (b-a) (f+g) (c-e-d) E 144° 59. (g-d) (e+c) (g-e)
The cache is in a small clip lock container.
When you've found the cache stand back and observe the squealing wheels of passing trains as they traverse the tight curve. I believe this is the second tightest for suburban trains in Melbourne. On weekday off-peak times and weekend daytime you get 6 trains per hour (3 in each direction) with an alternating gap of 9 and 11 minutes.
More trains pass by during weekday peak times and fewer at night and early mornings. A word of warning: Do not be tempted to take a short cut across the rail line in order to access the cache, use only existing crossing points (which go under the tracks). At the time of my most recent visit I became aware of a possible new (and much needed IMO) cycle path in the vicinity that may disrupt the cache. I will try and keep up with developments as the cache may need to be moved.
