Enjoy a walk through scenic St. James's Park near Buckingham
Palace. If you begin at the Victoria Memorial and end there, the
walk will take you maybe 60 minutes as you search for the caches
and enjoy the views. The park surrounds St. James's Park Lake, a
popular watering hole for hundreds of birds, including a large
contingent of pelicans. This area is enjoyable for young and old
alike. Numerous food vendors are located throughout the park.
Posted hours are "all day all year round" so I assume it closes at
dusk. This first cache will be found near the coordinates
above, which will lead you off the path and onto the grass. You will
be walking slightly uphill, and I don't think it will be easy to
push a pram or bicycle through the grass if it has rained recently.
At the top of the gradual ascent, you may be surrounded by yellow
flowers,in the right season so get your camera out and watch that
GPS arrow!Very soon it will point at the most obvious
location.Mugglesa bound in this park so stealth is obviously
required.
