This Highlands Ranch cache is located near the historic site of the Big Dry Creek Cheese Ranch. The park's paved trail provides an informative walking tour with historical markers, surrounded by a wooded area. The cache is located near the paved trail which can be heavily travelled, so beware of muggles!
On-street parking is available by the "Welcome Cheese Ranch Historic Park" monument and trailhead at the following coordinates: N 39 32.814 W 104 55.306.
Since the original Cheese Ranch Cache mysteriously disappeared, it has been replaced by a 3-inch capsule-shaped plastic container. It is now a log-only cache which contains a mini-logbook and a pencil. The new location, although near the original, is in a slightly more secluded area.
