Find Bloomington (exit 4) on I-15, head S.W. on paved road, and Find Navajo road. This will take you to the B.L.M. dirt road. Stay on the well used dirt road, right at first fork, about 5 to 7 miles out stay left at second fork, follow the road(stay to the right)to the end.
The Bloomington Cave is a easy hike down the small canyon to the south, but first look to the east at the great veiw of St. George and Zion N.P. The cave is a small opening on the north side of the canyon wall, but is very large inside. You will need a flash light if you go in any farther then the main opening. Don't go to into the cave alone it is very dangerous in spots,be careful and enjoy, if you dare to go any farther then 30 or 40 feet in the cave. The cache is hidden in some rock about 25 easy steps up the wash from the caves enterance, on the S.W side. It is in a 4", pvc pipe. We started with a hankerchief, a small poem book, a lucky duck, tennis ball and a never been used 1973 GPS.
