This cache (in an ammo box), is located near the sleepy hamlet of Dundridge. In as much as Dundridge does exist it does so about 1 ½ miles north of Bishops Waltham. When I say sleepy, I am not joking, blink and you will miss it. It is also a stone’s throw (assuming that you own a Roman ballista) from my favourite pub The Hampshire Bowman. (Hence the name of the cache). If you enjoy real ale, visit the Hampshire Bowman, nearby it is our favourite pub in the whole world, and you can always find someone to talk to.

I would now like to tell you about the history of Dundridge, but I can’t. It doesn’t have any, or if it does I can’t find out about it. (I will now probably get floods of E-mails telling me that Genghis Khan ran a Whelk stall here).
In winter, or after rain you may need wellies, or a submarine, for the first 20 yards.
