I looked long and hard for a place along these wetlands to place a cache, but wanted to avoid an area that floods during heavy rain. Then I found the high road.
The cache is along the Suwanee Creek Greenway trail between McGinnis Ferry Road and Martins Farm Road. You can park at the same spot you'd park for my "Why'd the chiken cross the road?" cache, or at the Martin's Farm Rd. lot. Or you can hike over from Pierce Park.
The final note - the cache is only a couple of dozen feet off the trail, but please leave the trail before or after the cache to avoid causing erosion damage. Please re-cover the cache well.
