pepperm: Unfortunately, after checking today I have to confirm that some one has done a runner with the cache. When placed the cache location was off the beaten path but as things have changed in the woods, the secret location is now right on a dog walk. So I am now archiving this entry.

A nice days walk in the woods
This cache came from a day out with The Loggers and The Crossers teams along with a few friends. The trail takes part in a easily accessible section of woodland on the Staffordshire/Shropshire border. It can be done at any time of the year but as it is in woodland appropriate footwear and clothing should be worn if the weather dictates. The woodland contains sites of special scientific interest so please observe the country code.
The initial coordinates are for a suitable car park and watering hole, not the cache. Mark this location to help with the return journey. Each subsequent clue will take you through the forest and on to the cache. All clues involve numbers that are easily observable from the coordinates calculated.
The Initial Start
1. From the car park walk to the post box (N52 55.150 W2 23.361) outside the shops.
2. The number to call is 0845 AB006CD. (Note: the number has slipped in the post box so use this one 0845 6000606 in the algebra)
3. Calculate X=D-1, Y=A-2, Z=B+2.
4. Follow the pavement past the school to the style at N52 XX.C27, W2 Z3.1Y9.
The Burnt Wood
1. Find the green woodland sign, the number to call is 0889 ABCDEF.
2. Follow the path and find the engine at N52 A4.BAA, W2 2F.FC0.
The Engine
1. The year the skill centre was active?
2. Calculate X=year-1283, Y=X-544.
3. Navigate to N52 54.X, W2 23.Y along suitable paths.
----- Sadly the Engine is now removed but the year was "1981". Go there anyway because there may be some play equipment for the kids still around -----
The Power
1. The registration code is ABCDE
2. Navigate to the final target at N52 5C.58A, W2 2E.C89.
The cache consist of a weather proof bagged white topped tupperware box well stocked with the usual notices, Log book and pens along with a number of childrens toys, AAA batteries, keyring, possum cross stitch, Mr Man book, Harry potter badges etc.
