Hang On Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sloopy: Sorry Keystone. I forgot that I hadn't archived this yet.

Thanks to everyone who found the cache. This was one of the first caches in Dover, and I have had fun reading all the found logs over the past four years. I hope you all had a good time looking for it! Unfortunately, Hang On has been muggled a number of times, and I'm afraid that replacing it would just lead to the same thing happening again and again. So I'm going to go ahead and archive it.

Happy caching everyone!

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a city park. It was placed with newcomers to the game of geocaching in mind, so experienced cachers shouldn't have too much trouble finding it.

This is the first geocache I have placed. Since there don't seem to be too many geocachers in the area, I wanted to make it easy for first-timers to find. Experienced cachers are welcome too, though!

There are several places you could park to get to this cache. The top of Deis Hill is probably the easiest way to go. If you choose to park at the bottom of the hill and walk up, PLEASE STAY ON THE PATH and resist the temptation to bushwhack or take the social trail. There is a much easier way to get to the cache from the top of the hill that only requires about 5 feet of bushwhacking. If having this cache here causes damage to the park, I will have to archive it.

During the warmer months, there may be a lot of geomuggles enjoying the park, so you may have to be discreet when searching for the cache.

Though it is not a micro, the container is not very big. If you wish to trade items, please keep them small and make sure the lid seals well to keep the contents dry. I have included a few small trade items to start out with.

Since the cache is not very difficult, I have not included a clue. If a lot of people have trouble with it, I'll add one later.

Please be respectful of the area and cache in, trash out when possible. Hope you enjoy the cache!
