The beautiful coast of North Carolina is only a short trip from Raleigh. Unfortunately, sometimes there just isn’t time to make a visit. This cache is placed for those who need a touch of the beach but just can’t get away. It’s located off a trail near the end of Raleigh Beach Road. Ms. NCTreker stocked and hid this cache. It’s easy to find by adults and kids alike. Don’t leave the trail too soon or you’ll miss some spectacular views of the Neuse River. This is a theme cache stocked with items that are reminders of past beach trips. Please bring similar items to trade. Initial contents include children’s sunglasses, assorted shells, flipflops, a drink coozie, water float, and various other beach related items. Good luck. Any longtime Raleighites might remember this cache site as the end of what once was Raleigh Beach Road.
