This is a multi legged cache designed to show you EVERETT's
roots.
I was amazed at how little info. Many of our local people know
about historical events that have taken place in
EVERETT. We will focus mostly on the RUCKER family, you will be
taken on a tour past the RUCKER
MANSION built in the early 1900's. At each location you will
find information that will allow you to complete
the next way point. Each of the way points are historical, with
the exception of the final cache. Who knows,
maybe it is historic as well.

This is not the final waypoint. Please read the whole page.
Please take your time on this cache and read all
the signs in the area, and enjoy the view you will be experiencing
on this cache. You will be looking for a .50 Cal. ammo
can.
You may want to bring a map & a camera for
fun!
After you finish at WP 3, drive past the area
and follow the road toward the water You will see the Rucker
Mansion. This is wonderful old home. Furthermore you will get a
great view of port gardener.
WP 4: Will present you the opportunity to get
some locally made chocolates & fudge ( Yum ). When you are
reading the plaque at this WP look to you left you will see a shop
selling the sweet treat! Be sure to sign or stamp the guest book
with your GoeCaching name also. I spoke with the owner of the shop
and told him about GeCcaching and he was very curious after reading
another cachers remarks in his guest book. The shop is closed on
sundays, so you should plan your trip accordingly if you want the
sweets.

A photo taken at the final Way Point

You can be very stealthy
uncovering the 6th and last waypoint to get to the cache even with
the park full of mugglers. Simply sit on the log as if you are
talking to each other or taking a break. Reach down and pick up one
rock at a time and set it on the log. If you don't keep standing
over the log looking and staring down into it as you are digging,
no one will pay any attention to you. I have done this several
times with not so much as a 2nd look from
anyone.
Happy Hunting
Congrats to JohnnyBoy and DBCooper for being FTF on the new hiding
place of the cache
