Geocache Description:

This is a modified Lock-N-Lock type cache located in a community
park in Emmitsburg, MD.

Located near the ballfields and play areas in this park, you'll find this modified Lock-N-Lock awaiting you. It has some minor trade items and a logbook. Be aware of the briars in the area around the cache location.

This field was built to house an adult baseball league that used to play in this town. It now is the home of Emmitsburg Baseball and Softball League's senior division. The teams are the Emmitsburg Redwings and the Renegades. Both are teams age 13-15 years old. They play in the Frederick County Babe Ruth League. For those who don't know about this league, it is mainly a rec-league for youth. A good many high school players play here when the high school season is complete.

If you are searching during the spring season besure to stop by behind the post office and visit the league's snack shack for a snow cone.
