Gog-le-hi-te Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

nordstromx1: After a rash of CNF's I picked the worst day of the winter to check up on the status. I seems to be gone. It wasn't where I remembered it being. The cold, rain and wind didn't encourage me to spend alot of time digging around. This being the last of my caches made the decision, to archive it, pretty easy. It had a good run. Thanx to all who took the time to come and look for the cache and see a little seen part of Tacoma. Let it be said that the site is now open to anyone who would like their shot at using the place.

Geocache Description:

This is in another S.P.O.T. Park. I remembered about it after doing the WhUT Park Cache and decided to cache it. You will find it a great place to see some birds and maybe see the Indians driftnet fishing along with all the sights, sounds and smells of industrial Tacoma. The reason for the park was to let people witness an experiment in creating a wetland and watch it mature.

The cache is in a 2.8qt. clear tupperware container wrapped in a black plastic bag. The bag is only for camoflage and not to stop water. The hike from the parking area (47* 15.098N 122* 24.611W, 5 spots) is a flat gravel road. There are two roads that lead from the parking area...which way to go? It's only an eighth of a mile(?) so if your'e wrong the first time it's not to far. The cache area is in view of several well traveled roads (including Hwy.509) but is far enough away so as to not be seen very well or for very long.
