The two generals are within cannon shot of each other.
For sometime now our famous Revolutionary War General, Nathanael Greene, has been camped along the shores of Lake Brandt, on the Nat Greene Trail. Things have been quiet and peaceful with only the sounds of birds singing and water lapping against the shoreline.
However, It now appears that the English Redcoats, under the command of General Charles Cornwallis, have returned to the area. That's right! General Cornwallis has moved along the Lake Brandt shoreline and actually had the nerve to establish a cache on the Nat Greene Trail !
Since the battle between General Cornwallis and Nathanael Greene occurred on March 15, 1781 It now might be wise to stay clear of the trail on March 15th.
