Geocache Description:

Nice hike that goes up to a ridge overlooking Gunpowder Falls.

Park on York Road at N39 36.837 W076 39.557. Follow the trail west along the river. You will walk under I-83. Do not attempt to park on I-83.It's not a long hike, but it does rise steadily up to a ridge. A stretch of the trail is along the side of a steep slope, so watch the kids. The trails will lead you right to the cache site. It's located just a few feet off the trail. The cache can be accessed from the west. I'll leave that up to you to discover, if you wish.The container is a blue plastic container with a note pad to log your comments and user name. Just placed a handful of items in it: small deck of cards, compass key chain, and a couple of English coins. Placed with permission of Maryland DNR.
