This bridge is on a well-traveled county road. There are NO shoulders, nor is there any extra width inside the covered bridge. Be very alert to oncoming traffic--the road is straight, so you can see vehicles as they approach from either direction. The cache is NOT on the bridge! We would NOT recommend that young children participate in this cache.
Covered bridges are a part of Oregon's history and present, providing a romantic passage over a flowing body of water. It has the greatest concentration of covered bridges west of the Mississippi. Each bridge provides a bit of Oregon history, and this bridge is the only one in the Willamette Valley that is not white, so it is somewhat unique. This cache is somewhat camo'd, but finding it is easy; retrieving it will be a bit more challenging. BYOP. Please replace as and where found. If you are lucky you will find a special item in the cache to keep for your efforts. Please leave the keeper of the cache ;) He only has an eye on you and is not holding the cache container.
