There is good parking close to this bridge, but like all of the covered bridges, it is narrow and it pays to be watchful for occasional traffic off the main highway. There is no need to leave the road to find this cache.
Covered bridges are a part of Oregon's history and present, providing a romantic passage over a flowing body of water. It has the greatest concentration of covered bridges west of the Mississippi.
This bridge is one of several covered bridges that cross the Thomas Creek. It was completed in 1936, and is still at its original location. It also serves as the end of the Linn County Covered Bridge Tour.
