Geocache Description:

The cache is located in a Cook county forest preserve. Parking is permitted along the street between 6am & 6pm and at the final location you can park at the radio control airplane field. At the first stop in this little two stage multi you are looking for a sign which tells a little about this land.

I highly recommend exploring this park before moving your car to the second stage; there is a real nice string of blue bird boxes. As always, if you explore stick to the trails and follow any posted rules. At the posted coordinates look at the sign which in bold print says "BARTEL GRASSLAND" and then look at the next line of text immediately below that. This second line of text contains three words, simply count the letters in the three words and add this number to the latitude and longitude below: N41 32.741 (plus the number of letters)
W87 45.396 (plus the number of letters) Your goal was to find all of the pieces of the flag from the five Flag Quilt caches but one of them went missing so I've converted this six cache series into five individual caches.

The caches in this series are/were:(Lanyards & Key Chains, Mardi Gras & Gay Pride Beads Galore, Lost & Found GPSr, Bartel Grassland CD Depot and, The Mystery) With the final cache (now a standard cache) being the Clean Desk Policy cache.

For some reason I sometimes accidentally buy the same CD twice and other times I just take a chance on an artist I've never heard of. This cache is stocked with original music CDs and I've thrown in a couple gaming CDs that I no longer play. Started off with; Emerson, Lake & Palmer-Trillogy, Christmas Mix, You Don't Know Jack (PC Game), Descent 3 (PC Game), Junior Senior-d-d-dont stop the beat, Metallica-S&M, Woody Guthrie-Early Masters, Lead Belly-In the Shawdow of the Gallows Pole, Odetta-At the Gate of Horn and Nick Drake-Way to Blue.
