This cache is almost a micro- cache, its in an old tobacco tin that contains nothing but a log book (thanks Budak) and pencil. At a push you could get a small travel bug in it. There is no treasure in this cache because the treasure is the views that you will see. You can park right next to the cache so it is quite easy to get there (unless its snowing).
The cache is on a hill side to the NW of Owsestry racecourse where there are already 2 other caches. I would like to think that this compliments the others and give you 3 excellent caches that you could easily get in an afternoon.
For the people with cars that have good suspension try going via Llechrydau at SJ 224 341 and along the gated unfenced road (track)- it is a public road but is a bit rough. After you have found the cache do drive around the hilltop roads and you will be rewarded with some spectacular views.
As a PS I will share a little story with you. I said the cache was in an old pipe tobacco tin. well it is now! I put the cache out and then went to visit my mother in law in Oswestry for a cup of tea, I tried to fill my pipe and found that I had left a full tin of tobacco on the hill and still had the cache in my pocket. After another trip up the hill I swapped them around and had a smoke.
Good caching.
