Cache is located in an area with over 5 miles of hiking trails. The seven ecosystem plant communities include:
- Red Maple Hardwood Swamp
- Northern Hardwood Stand
- Northern White Cedar Swamp
- Old Farm Fields and Pastures
- Floodplain Forest
- Rich Mesophytic Forest
- Deep Emergent Marsh
The cache is a .50 caliber ammo can, located a few steps off the trail. No bushwacking is required to reach the cache. At placement time, parts of the trail were murky, but in mostly good condition.
A first to find prize of a travel bug tag is in an envelope, but if still there and you're not FTF feel free to take it.
These hiking trails are privately owned and maintained by Waste Management, and open to the public to enjoy. Cache is placed with permission of the land manager, so please be respectful of the property.
