Geocache Description:

The cache is now a bit smaller than a film container (if anybody can remember what a film container is). Log Only so bring your own writing instrument (a first for H & H).

This cache honors a famous Oregon author of children's stories. It would be a GREAT cache to take your reading-age children along with you.

The cache may be sticky to return but do your best. If it becomes a problem, please noify us. Thank you.

This authors own story is as lively and irresistible as any of her novels. She was born Beverly Bunn in McMinnville, Oregon, and, until she was old enough to attend school, lived on a farm in Yamhill, a town so small it had no library. Her mother arranged with the State Library to have books sent to Yamhill and acted as librarian in a lodge room upstairs over a bank. This is where she learned to love books.

At this cache you will find Ramona the Pest, Henry Huggins and Ribsy the dog and the fountains.

The fountains are in operation 11 am - 8 pm, June 1 - Sept 15.
