Geocache Description:

Located along the San Juan Trail. The cache is NOT located at the above indicated coordinates. There is information here that will lead you to the location; it can take you as little as 5 seconds to find it.

I was trying to locate the Sugar Loaf Benchmark for quite a while,
when finally I found the mark in the rock where the benchmark used to be.
You can see the mark in the photo to the right:
I have circled it with white.

Then I hid a the Lost Benchmark Cache nearby.
It is located within 2 feet of the location of Reference Mark 1, also missing.
But you will be able to identify the location because
it has a similar mark in the rock where it used to be located.

You must use your sleuthing powers to locate that position.
I suggest that you do this before you attempt to find this cache.
The Lost Benchmark Cache is inside a decon container.  The original contents are some business cards and refrigerator magnets for my dental practice.
Finders of this cache are invited
to leave their own business cards.
But please, don't consider this a 'commercial' cache:
I predict that over its lifetime,
this cache will have less than five visitors.

By the way, I forgot to leave a pencil inside the cache,
so please bring your own writing instrument
to make your entry in the log.
