The nature walk is a very attractive loop walk with a branch off to the outlet of Lake Gunn. The ancient beech forest drips with moss and age - it's an easy walk for all ages being a flat, wide path. OK for baby strollers to do the complete loop. However the narrow path that runs downstream beside the lake outlet to the cache and on to the open camp area is not suitable for anything but legs. Mind small children near the water.
The cache is a couple of minutes (50-60m) downstream of the lake outlet on the narrower but very well defined path. Path is generally straight, beside the river. If you get to a sudden left then right turn in the path you've gone about 5-10 steps to far. Satellite reception is not that flash. Coordinates are on the waist high tree stump about 5m from the track
Cache is 3m from the track on the way to the log overhanging the river. In a large hole tucked out of casual sight. Refer to my photos in my 5/20/25 log for help. .

2022 Update: It's interesting to see that the tree over the water is much nearer the river level compared to when it was placed 18 years ago. The tree is gradually falling into the water I suppose. There is also much more small undergrowth at the base of the tree but it is still easy to get to.
