Ever wonder how Fort Lauderale got its name.......wonder no more.
This is a multi part cache, the set of coordinates above will take you to "Fort Lauderdale", once there take a few minutes to learn about the man on his horse. To find the cache you will need to :
N 26 04 _ _ _ to find the last 3 coordinates take the year the "Fort" was established and subtract 1001 from it
W 080 16 _ _ _ to find the last 3 coordinates take the year the "Fort" was established and subtract 1756 from it.
You are almost there..........don't set your sights to high for this one! It is hidden well and you will not need to disturb any existing landscape to find it.
**Parking may be tricky but not impossible, please do not park in the grass near the cache, there is a parking lot around the corner from the cache about 500 feet South East of the coordinates(make a U-Turn heading back out of the development and the parking in on your right)
Thanks To Dennis the Menace2 who adopted this cache from nickie218 and has now entrusted it to me.
