Geocache Description:

An easy micro with a great view of The Old Mill in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Please don't disturb any flowerboxes or landscaping, you need not move anything at all to find the cache. Thanks!

Mill Info:
The Old Mill was built in the early 1800s and is a great piece of Tennessee history. Situated along the picturesque Pigeon River, it was a central part of life for early settlers in the Pigeon Forge area. This grist mill ground the meals and flours needed by the locals, and it also provided electricity for the area until the 1930s.
Today The Old Mill is a greatly visited and photographed landmark. Within, there is a restaurant, a bakery featuring goods from products ground at the mill, local artists demonstrate pottery making, and there is plentiful shopping and entertainment all around you.
Bring your camera, take a stroll along the river, and enjoy your visit to Pigeon Forge!

Cache Info:
Cache Container is a small magnetized mint tin , with logsheet and a small pen.
You won't need to move or disturb anything around the cache at all to find it. It might help if you're only 1/2 inch tall.... Please make sure the lid *clicks* shut when you close it, to keep moisture out, and be sure to replace the cache like you find it.


The Cache is not on the Mill, the Mill wheel, or under the Mill. Please use caution when crossing roads and walking in the area. There are no dangers involved in locating or retrieving this cache: you need not climb or cross any fences. As always just be alert, be careful, and have fun!
