Butterballs Gone Wild Traditional Cache
Team Birchpoint: I checked on the cache this afternoon while in the park running. Thought I should because of the recent vandalism. Well now the cache has been swiped. Wonderful! So for now this cache will not exist. Not going to waste my time dealing with small minded juvenile behavior. It had a good run and I'm glad people were able to discover a beautiful park in Dane Co. If someone wants to put up a new cache in that area go for it. The park has many possible sites for one. Thanks to all for the nice comments on the cache.

Green ammo box with an initial stocking of the usual items. Placed in a somewhat little known wild park that has to be considered one of the county's crown jewels. Scenic rock outcroppings, spring fed streams, prairies, nice hiking trails, etc. Take the extra time to explore this beautiful area. Also, appr. 200' north of the cache is an interesting geological feature. PLEASE TREAD LIGHTLY.
Special thanks to the Dane co. parks dept. staff for their cooperation.
***During summer months you might want to wear a hat, light hiking pants, & carry a little deet. However, I do check on it while trail running just wearing running shorts w/o too much loss of blood! If your not wet, muddy, bitten up or bloody .....
