This cache is in a park that is starting to get the local
government attention that it has deserved for awhile. It has long
been a favorite place of local fishermen. There is a boat launch,
camping rv hookups, ball fields, picnic pavillions with grills, and
a lodge. I named the cache "Beware of the Gator" because there is a
pond that has signs posted that there is an alligator(s) in it. I
think this is just a ploy to keep people from swimming in the pond.
There may or may not be an alligator in it.
The cache is in an ammo can hidden away from the average
parkster. They may be times when you'll have to be sneaky,
depending on the location of other park visitors. It's possible you
could arouse their curiousity. Hint-Hint The park hours are
daylight to dusk with no admission fees. There are currently no
gates in place that would keep you from entering the park after
dark, but are you really brave enough to search for a cache in the
dark with a gator nearby. Shhhh What was that sound!!!!!
